Velvet Underground presents a night like no other with VUtopia, a new series of Thursday parties fashioned especially for clubbers to ‘jump the gun’ and kickstart their weekend revelry just that little bit earlier. Aimed to celebrate the spirit of collaboration and the meeting of creative minds, VUtopia is the ideal platform to showcase the best talent in their own respective fields be it music, fashion, design, art or photography. With eclectic musical collaborations between Zouk resident DJs and invited guests, helming the decks back to back and adding another decibel of dance floor pandemonium, expect a gamut of vibrant sounds and raucous fun with VUtopia!


Joining the ranks of VUtopia DJs is DJ KFC, co-founder of the groove fuelled collective, STASSH. Propelled by his ‘no music, no life’ philosophy, he has journeyed through a multitude of musical genres with verve, bringing his eclectic aural flavour across the region to Boracay, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Taking this opportunity to drop deep funky house tunes, DJ KFC meets Zouk resident, Tony Tay, producer of wonky dance floor stompers and for whom riding techy house sounds are the rule of the night, together bringing feel-good energy and vibes through their sets.
